GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS ● Add the required number of bags of PoolGard Multi-Shoc to the skimmer with the pump and filter in operation. ● Leave pump and filter running for at least 2 hours following addition to ensure that the product is completely disso lved and distributed throughout the pool. ● The correct level of free chlorine should be maintained for several hours prior to and during swimming activity . Do not allow bathers to re-enter the water until the free chlorine level has fallen to between 2 and 3 ppm. ● Chlorine levels and pH should be tested daily by use of a reliable test kit using fresh testing reagents. ● If pH falls below the required level add PoolGard pH Enhancer , if it rises above add PoolGard pH Reducer or Liq uid Pool Acid. ● Dose pool in the evening when the pool is not in use. Dosage rates indicated are only a guide. Dose pool and th en test to ensure the required free chlorine levels are reached . ● Stabiliser levels MUST be tested fortnightly by your local pool shop or by use of a reliable test kit. Once stabiliser levels reach 100 mg/L, DO NOT use this product until stabiliser falls below that level. INSTEAD, use an unstabilised chlorine product to maintain free chlorine levels. If stabiliser concentra tion needs to be reduced, consult your local pool shop. CAUTION DO NOT USE RE-USE THIS BAG FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE. NOT TO BE USED AS A FOOD CONTAINER. SAFETY DIRECTIONS Highly reactive oxidising chlorine compound. May cause fire and explosion or produce severe burns. Product will ir ritate the eyes, nose, throat and skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, skin and clothing. Do not inhale dust. Do not allow the product to come into contact wi th other chemicals, especially acids, or with combustible materials such as paper, fabric, sawdust or kerosene. Do not allow to get damp.
