THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each capsule of DABIGATRAN TEVA 150 MG
contains:
150 mg dabigatran etexilate (as mesylate)

1. WHAT IS THE MEDICINE INTENDED
FOR?
Dabigatran Teva contains the active ingredient
dabigatran etexilate, which belongs to a group
of medicines called “anticoagulants”.
Dabigatran Teva is intended for adults:
1. For the prevention of stroke and systemic
embolism in adult patients suffering from
irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) that is
unrelated to valve disease.
2. For the treatment of blood clots in the leg
veins (deep vein thrombosis (DVT)) and in
the pulmonary blood vessels (pulmonary
embolism (PE)) and to prevent the recurrence
of blood clots in these blood vessels.
