CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
It is used as an Antirheumatic agent:

For osteoarthritis of different localization (cervical, dorsal,
lumbar, shoulder, hip and
knee arthrosis, diffuse arthrosis, etc.), in scapular-brachial
periarthritis, lumbago and
sciatica;

For radiculoneuropathy; for fibrosites, tenosynovitis and myositis,
also used in sports
traumatology; for rheumatoid arthritis and for Still's disease
As an analgesic for pain syndromes of various etiologies:

in sports traumatology, as well as in the treatment of injuries
received as a result of an
accident

in
dental
practice,
to
reduce
pain
after
tooth
extraction
and
after
various
dental
interventions;

in obstetrics: after episiotomy and postpartum pain;

in gynecology: prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea;

in surgery: in the treatment of postoperative pain;

in ophthalmology: for postoperative pain and pain syndromes of various
etiologies;

in general medical practice: in the treatment of migraines and
headaches.

POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
1-3 sachets a day, according to the prescription.
The maximum daily dose of Brufen
®
granules should not exceed 1800 mg.
In rheumatology, the first oral dose is taken to reduce morning
stiffness in the muscles and
joints immediately after the patient wakes up; subsequent doses can be
taken during meals.
Undesirable side effects can be minimized by taking the lowest
effective dose for the shortest
treatment period necessary to control symptoms (see the section "
Special warnings and
precautions for use ").
