DIRECTIONS FOR USE
By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when
necessary, to avoid unnecessary
pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the
label.
This product must not be for growth promotion in ruminants intended
for human consumption.
PRECAUTIONS
When mixing and handling Phibromonensin 200 Custom Premix use
protective clothing, impervious
gloves and a dust mask. Operators should wash thoroughly with soap and
water after handling.
DO NOT treat cattle with products containing erythromycin, tiamulin or
oleandomycin while using
Phibromonensin 200 Custom Premix. DO NOT treat poultry with products
containing tiamulin or
oleandomycin while using Phibromonensin 200 Custom Premix. Severe
growth depression may occur.
DO NOT allow dogs, horses or other equines access to feeds containing
monensin. Consuptiom of
feed containing monensin may be fatal to these animals.
NOTE: MEDICATED FEED MUST BE LABELED WITH PRECAUTIONS AND RESTRAINTS.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
DAIRY CATTLE
As an aid in prevention of ketosis in lactating dairy cows; as an aid
in the prevetion and control of
coccidiosis by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuerni and for increased milk
protein production
(Note: the increase in milk protein will mean a reduction in milk fat
percentage but not in the actual
fat yield.)
Complete feeds: Thoroughly mix PhibroMonensin 200 into the ration to
provide 300 mg/kg per animal
per day. The inclusion rate should be adjusted to take into account
feed intake.
Supplements: Thoroughly mix PhibroMonensin 200 into the ration to
provide 300 mg monensin per
animal per day. The inclusion rate should be adjusted to take into
account feed intake.
CALVES
Thoroughly mix PhibroMonensin 200 into the ration to provide 0.5 –
1.0 mg/kg liveweight monensin
