CLINICAL PARTICULARS 4.1 TARGET SPECIES Cattle. 4.2 INDICATIONS FOR USE, SPECIFYING THE TARGET SPECIES The product is indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites: GASTROINTESTINAL ROUNDWORMS (adult and fourth-stage larvae): _Ostertagia ostertagi _(including inhibited larval stages) _O. lyrata_ _Haemonchus placei_ _Trichostrongylus axei_ _T. colubriformis_ _Cooperia oncophora_ _C. punctata_ _C. pectinata_ _Bunostomum phlebotomum_ _Oesophagostomum radiatum_ _Strongyloides papillosus _(adult) _Nematodirus helvetianus _(adult) _N. spathiger _(adult) _Trichuris _spp. (adult) LUNGWORMS (adult and fourth-stage larvae): _Dictyocaulus viviparus_ LIVER FLUKE (adult): _Fasciola hepatica_ EYE WORMS (adult): _Thelazia _spp. WARBLES (parasitic stages): _Hypoderma bovis_ _H. lineatum_ MANGE MITES: _Psoroptes bovis_ _Sarcoptes scabiei _var. _bovis_ SUCKING LICE: _Linognathus vituli_ _Haematopinus eurysternus_ Revised: October 2018 AN: 00954/2018 Page 2 of 6 _Solenopotes capillatus_ The product may also be used as an aid in the control of biting lice _(Damalinia bovis) _and the mange mite _Chorioptes bovis, _but complete elimination may not occur. PERSISTENT ACTIVITY The product given at the recommended dosage of 0.2 mg per kg bodyweight controls re-infection with _Haemonchus placei, Cooperia _spp. and _Trichostrongylus axei _acquired up to 14 days after treatment; _Ostertagia ostertagi _and _Oesophagostomum radiatum _acquired up to 21 days after treatment and _Dictyocaulus viviparus _acquired up to 28 days after treatment.
