1. CHE COS’È LEVOTIROXINA EG E A COSA SERVE
La levotiroxina, il principio attivo di LEVOTIROXINA EG, è un ormone
tiroideo sintetico per il trattamento di
malattie e disfunzioni della ghiandola tiroide.Ha lo stesso effetto
degli ormoni tiroidei naturali.
LEVOTIROXINA EG 25 - 200 microgrammi è usato
•
per trattare il gozzo benigno nei pazienti con funzione tiroidea
normale,
•
per prevenire la recidiva del gozzo dopo intervento chirurgico,
•
per sostituirsi agli ormoni tiroidei naturali quando la ghiandola
tiroidea non ne produce abbastanza,
•
per sopprimere la crescita del tumore in pazienti con cancro alla
tiroide.
LEVOTIROXINA EG 25-100 microgrammi viene anche usato per bilanciare i
livelli degli ormoni tiroidei,
quando l’iperproduzione di ormoni viene
