For skin infection particularly wound and ulcer cleansing.

Use topically only on skin or use externally on skin.

It
deteriorates
on
storage
and
should
be
used
within
2
weeks of its preparation.
To
be
used
undiluted
for
skin
disinfection,
particularly
in
wound and ulcer dressing when it may be applied as a wet
dressing.

CONTRAINDICATION:
Not applicable.
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
-Bleaches fabric. Solution may be irritant.
-Use topically only on skin or use externally on skin.
-Keep out of reach of children.
-Ingestion
causes
irritation
and
corrosion
of
mucous
membrances with pain and vomiting.
-Inhalation
of
fumes
causes
respiratory
tract
irritation
and
pulmonary oedema.
-If ingested, give water, milk or other demulcents then empty the
stomach by emesis on lavage with Sodium Thiosulphate 1%
solution.
-The antimicrobial activity of the chlorine is diminished by the
presence of organic material.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICAMENTS:
Not available.
SIDE EFFECTS:
May give rise to localized oedema, burning sensation in wounds
and irritation.
SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OF OVERDOSE:
None known.
STORAGE CONDITION:
Keep container tightly closed. Store in a dry place (below 30
°
C).
Protect from light.
