1.
Che cos’è Cinacalcet Teva e a cosa serve
Cinacalcet Teva agisce controllando i livelli dell’ormone
paratiroideo (PTH), del calcio e del fosforo
del suo organismo. È usato per il trattamento di malattie causate da
problemi agli organi chiamati
ghiandole paratiroidi. Le paratiroidi sono quattro piccole ghiandole
che si trovano nel collo, vicino
alla ghiandola tiroide e che producono l’ormone paratiroideo (PTH).
Cinacalcet Teva è usato negli adulti:
•
per trattare l’iperparatiroidismo secondario in pazienti adulti con
grave malattia renale che
necessitano della dialisi, per ripulire il loro sangue dai prodotti di
scarto.
•
per ridurre livelli elevati di calcio nel sangue (ipercalcemia) in
pazienti adulti con carcinoma
paratiroideo.
•
per ridurre livelli elevati di calcio nel sangue (ipercalcemia) in
pazienti adulti con
iperparatiroidismo primario, quando la rimozione della ghiandola non
sia p

COMPOSIZIONE QUALITATIVA E QUANTITATIVA
Ogni compressa contiene 30 mg di cinacalcet (come cloridrato).
Ogni compressa contiene 60 mg di cinacalcet (come cloridrato).
Ogni compressa contiene 90 mg di cinacalcet (come cloridrato).

FORMA FARMACEUTICA
Compressa rivestita con film (compressa).
Compresse 30 mg: compressa rivestita con film di forma ovale (10 mm x
6 mm), di colore da verde
chiaro a verde, incisa con la dicitura "C30" su un lato della
compressa e liscia sull’altro lato.
Compresse 60 mg: compressa rivestita con film di forma ovale (13 mm x
8 mm), di colore da verde
chiaro a verde, incisa con la dicitura "C60" su un lato e liscia
sull’altro lato.
Compresse 90 mg: compressa rivestita con film di forma ovale (15 mm x
9 mm), di colore da verde
chiaro a verde, incisa con la dicitura "C90" su un lato e liscia
sull’altro lato.

INFORMAZIONI CLINICHE
4.1
Indicazioni terapeutiche
Iperparatiroidismo secondario
Adulti
Trattamento dell’iperparatiroidismo (HPT) secondario in pazienti
adulti affetti da compromissione
renale in stadio terminale (ESRD) in terapia dialitica di
mantenimento.
Popolazione pediatrica
Trattamento dell’iperparatiroidismo (HPT) secondario nei bambini di
età superiore o uguale ai 3 anni
con malattia renale in fase terminale (ESRD) in terapia dialitica di
mantenimento in cui l’HPT
secondario non risulti adeguatamente controllato con la terapia
standard (vedere paragrafo 4.4).
Cinacalcet Teva può essere usato come parte di un regime terapeutico
che includa, secondo
necessità, chelanti del fosfato e/o vitamina D (vedere paragrafo
5.1).
Carcinoma paratiroideo e iperparatiroidismo primario negli adulti
Riduzione dell’ipercalcemia in pazienti adulti con:
