EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine inhibits uptake of serotonin, a neurotransmitter in the
brain, to alleviate
melancholic mood, depressing feeling, anxiety and tension.
It is usually used to treat depression/depressive state,
obsessive-compulsive disorder and
social phobia in adults, and to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder in
children.
