EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine inhibits the growth of non-small cell lung cancer by
selectively suppressing the
function of EGFR, a protein necessary for cancer growth.
It is usually used to treat unresectable, recurrent and progressive
non-small cell lung cancer
which has worsened after cancer chemotherapy, unresectable, recurrent
and progressive
chemotherapy-naive non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR mutation.
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch,
rash, etc.) to any medicines
or foods.
If you have interstitial lung disease, gastrointestinal ulcer,
intestinal diverticulum, lung
infection.
If you ever had any of those diseases mentioned above.
If you have hepatic function disorder.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
