INDICATIONS: For the treatment of parasitic infections due to
nematodes, cestodes, and
gastric bots in horses and ponies. Consult your veterinarian for the
diagnosis, prevention
and treatment of parasitism in horses (see enclosed package insert for
complete
spectrum of activity).
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For oral use only. Use one syringe per 600
kg of body
weight (see enclosed package insert for complete use directions).
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Ivermectin 1.87% w/w and praziquantel 14.03 % w/w.
CAUTION:
1. EQUIMAX Oral Paste has been formulated specifically for use in
horses and ponies
ONLY. This product should not be used in other animal species as
severe adverse
reactions, including fatalities in dogs may result.
2. Reasonable care should be taken in the handling of sick or
debilitated animals.
3. Some horses have experienced reactions associated with swelling and
itching shortly
after treatment with various equine formulations of ivermectin. In
most of these cases,
the horses carried heavy infections of_ Onchocerca_ spp.; it is
assumed that the reactions
were the result of microfilariae dying in large numbers. Symptomatic
treatment,
administered by your veterinarian, may be advisable in such cases.
STORAGE: Store below 30°C.
INDICATIONS: Pour le traitement des infections parasitaires dues aux
nématodes, aux
cestodes et aux larves d’oestres gastriques chez les chevaux et les
poneys.
Consulter votre vétérinaire pour le diagnostic, la prévention et le
traitement des
parasitoses chez les chevaux (spectre d’activité dans le prospectus
ci-joint).
POSOLOGIE ET ADMINISTRATION: Par voie orale uniquement. Administrer le
contenu
d’une seringue pour 600 kg de poids vif (renseignements posologiques
complets dans
le prospectus ci-joint).
