Description :
Iodine 0.25% w/w from polyethoxy polypropoxy polyethoxy ethanol-iodine
complex 6.8% w/w providing
2,500 ppm titratable iodine in solution, free iodine 12-16 ppm,
glycerin 5.0% w/w as emollient.
Indications:
Pre-milking teat dip, for reducing new intramammary infections in
dairy cattle caused by _Streptococcus _
_uberis_. Post-milking teat dip, for reducing new intramammary
infections in dairy cattle caused by
_Staphylococcus aureus_.
Directions for Use:
Use at full strength. Do not dilute. Use a teat dip cup to apply the
product.
Note: A fresh solution should always be used at each milking. The dip
cup solution should be changed if
it becomes visibly dirty or if sediment is introduced, or if colour
fades noticeably.
_Pre-Dipping _

If udder or teats are heavily soiled, wash with an udder sanitizer
(following directions on product label)
and dry teats thoroughly with a single-service paper towel. Forestrip
and check for clinical mastitis. Dip
teats with undiluted Della-Pretech Plus
TM
. Allow 15-30 seconds contact, then remove all pre-dip with a
single service towel. Attach milker unit.
_Post-Dipping _
Immediately after milking, dip each teat with Della-Pretech Plus
TM
.
Ensure that the solution thoroughly
covers the entire surface of all teats. Allow teats to dry. Do not
wipe. If outside temperature is below 0
ᴼC, allow to air dry on the teats before turning cows out to cold
weather to prevent f
