EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine reduces the sympathetic nervous tension and dilates
peripheral blood vessels
by selectively
acting on alpha-2 receptors in the brain stem. This results in a
decrease in blood pressure.
It is usually used to treat various types of hypertension (essential
and renal hypertension).
THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS MAY NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS
MEDICINE.BE SURE TO TELL YOUR DOCTOR
AND PHARMACIST.
・If you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction (itch, rash
etc.) to any medicines or
foods.
・If you have kidney disorder, heart failure, ischemic heart disease
or congestive heart
disease, cerebral infarction, cerebrovascular disorder, slow pulse or
fever.
If you have or a history of ischemic heart disease or congestive heart
failure.
・If you are already pregnant or are breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may
interact to enhance or
diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and
