OF REGISTERED AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCTS WITH A CLAIM
INCONSISTENT WITH THEIR APPROVED LABELS
PERMIT NUMBER – PER14917
This permit is issued to the Permit Holder under section 114 of the
Agricultural and Veterinary
Chemicals Code, scheduled to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals
Code Act 1994 (the
Agvet Code) in response to an application granted by the APVMA under
section 112 of the
Agvet Codes of the jurisdiction set out below. This permit allows a
person, as stipulated below,
to
use
the
registered
products
in
the
manner
specified
in
this
permit
in
the
designated
jurisdiction. This permit also allows the Permit Holder, the Suppliers
and any person stipulated
below to claim that the registered products can be used in the manner
specified in this permit,
which would otherwise constitute an offence under section 84 of the
Agvet Code.
THIS PERMIT IS IN FORCE FROM 27 SEPTEMBER 2014 TO 26 SEPTEMBER 2017.

:
Persons generally.
PRODUCTS TO BE USED:
Registered granular swimming pool products
Containing 650
g/kg
available
chlorine
as
CALCIUM
HYPOCHLORITE
or
SODIUM
HYPOCHLORITE as their only active constituent.
PERMITTED CLAIM:
This permit allows the registered products to be used for disinfecting
abalone harvesting
equipment and for decontamination against abalone viral
ganglioneuritis.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To protect the abalone stocks and abalone industry from abalone viral
ganglioneuritis, use as
directed in the Industry and Investment NSW Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) attached
to this permit, noting especially the Appendix (page 2 of the SOPs)
containing instructions for
preparing the 200 ppm effective chlorine solution from granular pool
chlorine.
