Intended use
Preheparinized, electrolyte-balanced, arterial blood
sampler product line for collection of arterial samples
for pH, blood gas, oximetry, electrolyte and metabolite
analysis.
The sampler is preheparinized with approx. 60 IU
dry electrolyte-balanced heparin (Porcine intestinal
mucosa).
Not for injection.
Blood sampling should be performed by authorized
personnel only.
Dispose according to local regulations/procedures.
Not made with natural rubber latex.
WARNING - Risk of infection
Always handle blood and the collection devices with
care and avoid direct contact with the sample by using
medical gloves.

Inspect sealed sterile package before opening.
Discard sampler if seal is broken or package otherwise
damaged as contents may not be sterile.

Do not point the syringe at people when expelling air.
Pressing the plunger too hard may cause a sudden
