® PINKEYE-1 TRIVALENT
READ ENTIRE CARTON BEFORE USE.
CONTAINS INACTIVATED CULTURES OF _MORAXELLA BOVIS _ISOLATES IN AN OIL
EMULSION ADJUVANT.
CONTAINS GENTAMICIN AS PRESERVATIVE.
INDICATION
For use in healthy cattle to aid in the control of pinkeye associated
with infection by _Moraxella _
_bovis _strains expressing pili similar to those expressed by isolates
referred to as Strains Epp 63,
Fla 64 and SAH 38.
ADMINISTRATION
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. The vaccine should be warmed to room
temperature prior to injection.
Inject 2 mL intramuscularly into the anterior neck three to six weeks
prior to onset of pinkeye
season. Annual revaccination is recommended.
CAUTION
Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. Use may
occasionally lead to development
of granulomas which may persist for several weeks.
Hypersensitivity reaction may occur and can cause temporary reduced
milk production in lactating
cattle. If anaphylaxis occurs administer epinephrine or antihistamine.
STORAGE
Store at 2°C to 7°C. DO NOT FREEZE. Use entire contents when first
opened.
WARNING
Extreme caution should be used when injecting oil emulsion vaccines to
avoid injecting yourself.
Accidental injection can cause serious local reaction.
CONTACT A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF ACCIDENTAL INJECTION OCCURS.
