WHAT PHARMANIAGA GERMACID CREAM
IS USED FOR
Pharmaniaga Germacid Cream contains
an
antibiotic
which
is
fusidic
acid
or
sodium fusidate. This is an antibiotic used
to treat skin infections.
Examples of such infections are:
•
Impetigo
-
contagious
skin
infections
with
blisters
or
red
spots
•
Infected cuts and abrasions
•
Infected eczema
•
Infected contact dermatitis
HOW PHARMANIAGA GERMACID CREAM
WORKS
Pharmaniaga Germacid Cream contains
an
antibiotic
that
kills
bacteria
which
causes the skin infections. Pharmaniaga
Germacid Cream is effective only against
those
bacteria
which
fusidic
acid
or
sodium fusidate can kill.
BEFORE YOU USE PHARMANIAGA GERMACID
CREAM

Do not use if you are allergic to fusidic
acid
or
sodium
fusidate
or
any
other
ingredients contained in this medicine as
listed at the end of this leaflet.
Do not use beyond of the expiry date as
imprinted on the label.

Tell your doctor if:

you have allergies to fusidic acid
or
sodium
fusidate
or
any
ingredients
contained
in
this
medicine.

you are pregnant or intend to
become pregnant.
•
you
are

planning to breastfeed.

Tell your doctor if you are taking any
other medicine, including any that you
buy
without
a
prescription
from
a
pharmacy,
supermarket
or
health
food
