OXFEN HI-MINERAL
Contains oxfendazole BP 22.65g/litre. Each 10mL ewe dose contains 10mg
Iodine, 5mg Selenium, 2mg Cobalt, 21mg Copper and 6mg Zinc.
For the control of sensitive mature and immature _Haemonchus,
Ostertagia, _
_Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Strongyloides, Bunostomum, _
_Oesophagostomum, Chabertia, Trichuris, Dictyocaulus_ and _Moniezia_
in cattle,
sheep, goats and deer, and type II Ostertagiosis in cattle and as an
aid in the
control of fluke in sheep.
Oxfen Hi-Mineral is also ovicidal. Oxfen Hi-Mineral contains
oxfendazole a
member of the benzimidazoles. It is effective against internal
parasites sensitive
to this family. Resistance can develop to any anthelmintic. Ask your
local
veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended
parasite
management practices for your area to reduce development of
resistance. It is
advisable that a resistance test be conducted regularly when using any
parasite
treatment.
PRECAUTIONS:
DO NOT USE AT THE SAME TIME AS ANY OTHER
SELENISED FERTILISER, PRILL OR PRODUCT WITHOUT CONSULTING A
VETERINARIAN. DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE VOLUME AND
FREQUENCY. IN SHEEP, LIVER LEVELS OF COPPER MAY BE QUITE
VARIABLE. CONSEQUENTLY, THERE IS ALWAYS A RISK OF COPPER
POISONING (DEATHS) OCCURRING FOLLOWING COPPER
SUPPLEMENTATION IN THIS SPECIES.
