It is indicated for the treatment of obstructive respiratory sleep disorders, particularly Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) in patients weighing 30kg or more. It delivers a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) which prevents the upper airways from becoming obstructed and thus eliminates respiratory events.
