OPTISKIN is a dressing intended for covering: • all types of superficial wounds (sutured wounds, puncture site, cutes, scratches) • or sites of insertions of medical devices(probes, drains, and peripheral catheters.) Superficial wounds are simple wounds, small sized and mainly minors, which do not reach the skin deep-down. A cut remains superficial when the edges of the wound are near and cannot be separated, when it's less than 0.5cm deep and it does not need any suture. OPTISKIN is particularly suitable for balneotherapy care after surgery (always inspect that compress remains dry) or, generally speaking, for rapid resumption of activity following surgery.
