General Instructions:
• Ambitious Plant Growth Regulator is a very active plant growth
regulator with cytokinin
activity which accelerates cell division, cell number and cell size.
Promotes fruit
enlargement as a result.
• The product is not translocated in plant tissue (e.g. from treated
leaves to fruit), it is
sufficient to spray only the fruit by direct application.
• Direct spray to the bunches and fruit. Bunches or fruit must be
thoroughly wetted. The
formation of drip points must be avoided.
• Run off and drip points may result in marks or rings on berry skin
or lop sided, misshapen
apples.
• Avoid application in midday heat.
Grapes
• Apply after post-bloom shatter period to avoid increased fruit
set.
• Gibberellic Acid – Good berry thinning is essential when using
Ambitious Plant Growth
Regulator. Best results are obtained when using Ambitious in addition
to a GA3 program.
• On established vines apply in water rates between 500-1000L per
ha. Spray volumes will
depend on crop load and spray equipment. Reduce water v
