                                DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1) Before commencing treatment, pool water must be balanced
to;- (a) pH 7.2 – 7.8 (b) Total Alkalinity 80 – 100ppm
2) Brush affected areas the night before and Superchlorinate.
3) Vacuum any residue to waste.
4) Pour in IQ Blackspot Treatment evenly around the pool –
400mL per 50,000 litres.
5) Put filter on to RECIRCULATE and run for 2-3 hours.
6) Turn off filter and let settle for 2 – 3 days.
7) After 3rd day check pool, if necessary add floc, wait for it to
settle then vacuum any residue to waste.
8) Check pH and Total Alkalinity, adjust if necessary.
9) Turn filter to “filter cycle” and run for a day.
10) Resume normal maintenance.
NOTE: Normal chlorination of your pool should continue in accordance
with registered bactericide and its
registered label. Concurrent use of other copper based chemicals is
not recommended. If you are using
Granulated Chlorine, you must dissolve the chlorine in a bucket of
water prior to adding it to the pool.
NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO
THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.
CAUTION NOT TO BE USED AS A FOOD CONTAINER.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
Store apart from other chemicals. Store in the closed, original
container in a cool well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged
periods in direct sunlight. Rinse empty
container in pool water before disposal. Dispose of empty container by
wrapping in paper, placing in
plastic bag and putting in garbage.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
Harmful if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes, nose, throat and skin.
Avoid
contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale vapour. When using the
product wear elbow length PVC
gloves. After each application, wash contaminated clothing and gloves.
FIRST AID:
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information centre (
phone Australia
13 11 26). If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and
wash skin thoroughly. If in eyes,
hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a
doctor.
