For the treatment of dairy cows at drying off
ACTIVE CONSTITUENT:
Each single dose injector contains 250mg cephalonium in a slow release
long acting base.
INDICATIONS
For the treatment of existing subclinical intramammary infections at
drying off and for the prevention of new
infections during the dry period, as well as for reducing somatic cell
counts and the incidence of new
infections in the early post-partum period. Cepha-Forte DC is
effective against Streptococcus spp. such as
_S. agalactiae _ and _ S. uberis_, penicillin resistant and sensitive
Staphylococci spp., such as _ S. aureus, _
Coliforms such as _Escherichia coli _and other susceptible
Gram-negative bacteria.
CONTRAINDICATION
Do not use on lactating cows. Do not use during the dry period.
