CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Primary prophylaxis of cardiovascular disorders, such as thrombosis
and acute heart insufficiency
in high-risk patient groups (e.g. having diabetes mellitus,
hyperlipidemia, arterial hypertension,
obesity, smoking, and elderly age).
Prevention of recurrent myocardial infarction and vascular thrombosis.
Prevention
of
thromboembolism
after
surgical
intervention
on
blood
vessels
(aortocoronary
shunting, transdermal transluminal coronary angioplasty).
Unstable angina pectoris.

POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The tablets are to be swallowed whole with a drink of water. If
desired, a tablet can be broken into
two, chewed or triturated.

Cardiomagnyl containing 75 mg once daily.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to ASA, excipients of Cardiomagnyl, and other
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory
drugs;
