Supplier Details: Mavlab Pty Ltd ACN 068 507 148 31 – 33 Rowland Street SLACKS CREEK QLD 4127 Contact Person: Dr Paul Ross Emergency Telephone: (07) 3808 1399 Facsimile: (07) 3808 4328 SECTION 2 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION This product is not dangerous goods under the Australian Dangerous Goods Code but is classified as hazardous hazardous according to the classification criteria of NOHSC:1008(2004), Approved Criteria For Classifying Hazardous Substances and the National Code of Practice for the Preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets 2 nd Edition [NOHSC:2011(2003)]: Health Effects Although this product contains levamisole hydrochloride at a concentration above that which is considered to be hazardous according to the classification criteria of NOHSC 1008(2004), this material is present in tablet form and the quantities of tablets are limited. It is considered therefore that the product does not pose a significant hazard. Nevertheless the following information should be noted: Swallowed: Nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain may be noted following very large doses of product. Considered an unlikely route of entry in commercial/industrial environments. Eye: May cause slight transient eye irritation. Corneal injury is unlikely. Skin: Prolonged contact is essentially non-irritating to skin. Repeated exposure may cause slight flaking, tenderness and softening of the skin. A single prolonged exposure is not likely to result in the material being absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts.
