ORODISPERSIBLE
TABLET
contains Donepezil hydrochloride. It is
used
to
treat
the
mild,
moderate,
and
severe dementia in Alzheimer’s disease.
HOW
ARIZIL
ORODISPERSIBLE
TABLET WORKS
Donepezil hydrochloride is a piperidine
derivative
belongs
to
acetylcholinesterase
inhibitors.
Donepezil
increases
the
levels
of
acetylcholine
in
the
brain
involved
in
memory function by slowing down the
breakdown of acetylcholine.

USE

_When you must not use it _
This medicines is contraindicated in the
following case:
1.
Hypersensitivity
to
donepezil
hydrochloride,
piperidine
derivatives, or to any excipients used
in the formulation.

_Pregnancy and lactation _
Neonates
exposed
to
donepezil
during
the third trimester of pregnancy are at
risk
for
symptoms
like
agitation,
increased
or
decreased
muscle
tone,
tremor,
sleepiness,
respiratory
distress,
and feeding disorder following delivery.
Donepezil
should
be
used
during
pregnancy only if the potential benefit
justifies the potential risk to the foetus.
