Claims:
Monepantel is a member of the class of anthelmintics called the
Amino-Acetonitrile
Derivatives (AADs) while Abamectin is a member of the Macrocyclic
Lactone (ML) class of
anthelmintics.
ZOLVIX PLUS is effective for the treatment and control of sensitive
strains of nematodes
(roundworms), including nematodes that have single, dual or triple
resistance to
macrocyclic lactones (including moxidectin resistant strains),
benzimidazoles (white
drenches), imidazothiazoles (levamisole and morantel (clear drenches))
and closantel
(Haemonchus contortus only), or their combinations in sheep.
When used at the recommended dose rate (2.5 mg/kg monepantel / 0.2
mg/kg abamectin),
ZOLVIX PLUS is effective for the treatment and control of sensitive
strains of nematodes
(roundworms), including nematodes that have singe, dual or triple
resistance to macrocyclic
lactones (including moxidectin resistant strains), benzimidazoles
(white drenches),
imidazothiazoles (levamisole and morantel (clear drenches)) and
closantel (Haemonchus
contortus only) or their combinations in sheep.
ZOLVIX PLUS is also effective against AAD-sensitive immature (L4)
stages of
Haemonchus contortus and Teladorsagia circumcincta in sheep where a
combination of a
macrocyclic lactone and derquantel is less effective.
ZOLVIX PLUS is effective for the treatment and control of nematodes
(roundworms)
sensitive to monepantel and/or abamectin, including Haemonchus placei
and Nematodirus
helvetianus strains that have resistance to macrocyclic lactones and
Nematodirus
helvetianus and Cooperia oncophora strains that have resistance to
benzimidazoles (white
drenches) in beef cattle and non-lact
