WHAT WINACOL IS USED FOR
WINACOL
is
an
expectorant
for
the
relief of chesty coughs.
HOW WINACOL WORKS
It
contains
guaifenesin,
reduces
the
viscosity of thick mucus and is used as an
expectorant (thinning the mucus).
BEFORE YOU USE WINACOL
_-When you must not use it _
Tell
your
doctor
before
using
WINACOL if you have hypersensitivity
to guaifenesin.
_-Pregnancy and breastfeeding _
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are
pregnant, planning to get pregnant or are
breastfeeding. The safety of this product
during pregnancy and lactation has not
been established.
_-Before you start to use it_
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you

suffer from a chronic cough, asthma or
are
suffering
from
an
acute
asthma
attack

cough
lasts
for
more
than
5
days,
comes back, or is accompanied by a
fever, rash or persistent headache.
_-Taking other medicines _
Inform your doctor or pharmacist before
taking this medicines, including any that
you get without a prescription from your
pharmacy, supermarket or health food
shop.
Some medicines and WINACOL
may
interfere with each other. They may be
affected by WINACOL or may affect
how well it works.
Do not take with a cough suppressant.

Always use WINACOL exactly as your
doctor has prescribed. You should check
