WHAT IS REVOKE-1.5 LEVONORGESTREL
TABLET USED FOR
Emergency contraception within 72
hours
after
an unprotected sexual
intercourse, or when a contraceptive
method failed.
HOW REVOKE-1.5 LEVONORGESTREL
TABLET WORKS
It is unclear exactly how these tablets
help
prevent
pregnancy,
but
it
is
thought to work by:
•
Stopping you from releasing
an egg (ovulating)
•
Preventing sperm from
meeting an egg that has
been or is about to be
released (fertilization)
•
Stopping
a
fertilized
egg
from attaching itself to your
womb
The tablet will not work if you are
already
pregnant,
or
have
had
unprotected
sex
or
a
failure
of
contraception more than 72 hours
ago and since your last period.

LEVONORGESTREL TABLET
-When you must not use it
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to
Levonorgestrel or any of the other
ingredients of Revoke-1.5
Levonorgestrel Tablet.
-Before you start to use it
The
use
of
Revoke-1.5
Levonorgestrel
Tablet
is
not
recommended in the following cases:
•
If you have had a pregnancy
outside the uterus (ectopic
pregnancy)
•
If you have had a pelvic
inflammatory
disease
(salpingitis)
•
If you or someone in your
family
has
a
known
risk
factor for thrombosis (blood
clot)
•
If
you
have
serious
digestive
disorder
that
impairs the absorption of
food and drugs
•
If
you
have
severe
liver
disease
or
any
serious
illness in the small intestine,
such as Crohn’s disease
A
history
of
tubal
(ectopic)
pregnancy and a previous infection
of the fallopian tube
