WAT IS PHYSIONEAL 35 EN WAARVOOR WORDT DIT MEDICIJN GEBRUIKT?
Physioneal 35 is een oplossing voor peritoneale dialyse. De oplossing
verwijdert water en
afvalproducten uit het bloed en corrigeert abnormale waarden van
verschillende bloedbestanddelen.
Physioneal 35 bevat verschillende concentraties aan glucose (1,36 %,
2,27 % of 3,86 %). Hoe hoger
de glucoseconcentratie van de oplossing, hoe groter de hoeveelheid
water die uit het bloed van de
patiënt wordt verwijderd.
Physioneal 35 kan in de volgende gevallen worden voorgeschreven:

tijdelijk of permanent nierfalen;

ernstige vochtretentie;

ernstige verstoring in de zuur- of basegraad (pH) en het zoutgehalte
van het bloed;

bepaalde typen medicijnenintoxicatie waarvoor geen andere behandeling
beschikbaar is.
