The upward pressurization method which uniquely defines the oscillometric automatic manometer is carried out by a number of stages. 1. Start measurement 2. Apply cuffs 3. Check pulse 4. Measure MCP (Max Cuff Pressure) 5. Measure Diastolic and Systolic pressure 6. Remove cuffs 7. Measurement completed. The precise pressurization process is controlled by a pump drive circuit.
