Offset stem extensions allow a transition of the component position on the resected bone surface within a 4.5 mm radius of the canal centera full 360 degrees to allow adjustment the femoral component in any direction off the center of the distal femoral canal. Available in a variety of sizes for optimal canal fill and component positioning. Features a double-locking mechanism with a Morse-type taper and either a proximal threaded or double set screw. Made from Tivanium (Ti6Al4V alloy). NexGen Stem Extensions are a component of the NexGen Complete Knee Solution CR, PS, CRA, LPS and LCCK Systems and is indicated for patients with severe knee pain and disability due to Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, polyarthritis; collagen disorders, and/or avascular necrosis of the femoral condyle; posttraumatic loss of joint configuration, particularly when there is patellofemoral erosion, dysfunction or prior patellectomy; moderate valgus, varus, or flexion deformities; the salvage of previously failed surgical attempts or for a knee in which satisfactory stability in flexion cannot be obtained at the time of surgery.
