TOPICAL, SOAP FREE, CRUST-REDUCING, ANTIBACTERIAL, ANTIFUNGAL AND ANTIPRURITIC SHAMPOO FOR DOGS AND CATS INDICATIONS An aid in the treatment of pruritic and inflammatory forms of seborrhoea and pyoderma, and triclosan or miconazole sensitive infections of the skin of dogs and cats DIRECTIONS FOR USE DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Each pump action delivers 2.5mL of shampoo. 50mL of Medicoat Shampoo (20 pumps) would be adequate to treat a 30kg medium hair length dog and 7-10mL (3-4 pumps) for an adult cat. With Ringworm (Dermatophytosis), all in-contact dogs and cats should be treated to limit infection spreading and environmental contamination. Wet the animal thoroughly with clean water. Apply Medicoat to the animal at several points and massage into the coat. Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes. A sponge assists lathering and penetration of the coat. Ensure that Medicoat is applied around the lips, under the tail and between the toes as these areas harbour causative organisms. Allow to stand for 10 minutes, and then rinse off with clean water. Animal should not be left unattended during the standing. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms abate, then weekly or as directed by your veterinary surgeon.
