II - INFORMAÇÕES TÉCNICAS AOS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE:
1. INDICAÇÕES
O diazepam está indicado para alívio sintomático da ansiedade,
tensão e outras queixas somáticas ou
psicológicas associadas com a síndrome da ansiedade. Pode também
ser útil como coadjuvante no
tratamento da ansiedade ou agitação associada a desordens
psiquiátricas.
O diazepam é útil no alívio do espasmo muscular reflexo devido a
traumas locais (lesão, inflamação). Pode
ser igualmente usado no tratamento da espasticidade devido a lesão
dos interneurônios espinhais e supra
espinhais tal como ocorre na paralisia cerebral e paraplegia, assim
