For the sustained control of Barbers Pole Worm and control of Liver
Fluke and nasal bots in
sheep and lambs.
INDICATIONS
CLOSATAK CLOSANTEL SUSTAINED ACTION ORAL ANTHELMINTIC AND FLUKICIDE
FOR SHEEP AND LAMBS contains Closantel (37.5 g/L), a member of the
salicylanilide and
substituted phenol family of drenches. This product is effective
against internal parasites
sensitive to this family including the following parasites:
Haemonchus contortus- Barber’s pole worm
Fasciola hepatica- Liver Fluke
Oestrus ovis- Nasal Bots
CLOSATAK CLOSANTEL provides sustained action against the reinfestation
of both
mature and immature stages of Barbers Pole Worm in sheep for four
weeks after dosing.
This product also controls both mature and immature stages of Liver
Fluke as well as all
stages of Nasal Bots.
Internal parasites may develop resistance to drenches. Ask your local
veterinary adviser
for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce
development of
resistance.
It is advisable that a drench resistance test be conducted before any
drench is used. If
drench failure with this preparation is suspected, seek veterinary
confirmation and notify the
manufacturer.
