What Wingesic 650 Tablet is used for
Wingesic 650 Tablet is used for the relief
of fever, headache, toothache and mild to
moderate pain including dysmenorrhea,
conditions involving musculoskeletal
pain, myalgias, neuralgias, analgesic after
tooth extraction and in teething and
earache.
How Wingesic 650 Tablet works
Wingesic 650 Tablet contains
Paracetamol which belongs to a group of
medicines called analgesic and antipyretic
that helps to ease pain and reduce fever. It
is rapidly and completely absorbed
following oral administration and will
exert its effect between 30 minutes to 2
hours later. This effect could last for 3 to
4 hours.
Before you use Wingesic 650 Tablet
- When you must not take it
Do not take this product if you are allergic
(hypersensitivity) to Paracetamol or any
other ingredients in this product.
- Before you start to use it
This medicine should be given with care
to patients with impaired liver or kidney
function and to patients taking other drugs
that affect the liver.
- Taking other medicines
You should always check with your
doctor if your child is taking any of these
medicines:
Drugs that induce liver microsomal
enzymes, Metoclopramide, Probenecid,
Cholestyramine and Anticoagulant (e.g.
Warfarin).
How to take Wingesic 650 Tablet
- How much to take
Adults and children above 12 years:
Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours. (Do not
exceed 6 tablets per day)
Do not exceed the recommended dose
unless advised by a doctor.
- When to take it
May be taken with or without food.
- How long to take it
Take as directed by your doctor or
pharmacist.
- If you forget to take it
