ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 250 mg Piperazine (as Piperazine Citrate) per
teaspoon (5 mL)
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Caramel Flavour, Glycerin, Methylparaben,
Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Saccharin,
Water, Xanthan Gum
INDICATIONS: An anthelmintic to be given orally for use as an aid in
the treatment and/or prevention of
roundworms (nematodes) (_Toxocara cati _and _Toxascaris 2eonine_) in
cats and kittens 6 weeks of age or older.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Consult your veterinarian in the diagnosis,
treatment and control of parasitism.
Cats and kittens (6 weeks or older): ¼ teaspoon per 1.1 kg (2.5 lbs)
of body weight. After initial dose on day
one, do not administer again until day 14. On day 14, repeat initial
dose. Then administer every 30 days to
help prevent re-infection. For kittens, administer dose every 14 days
until 8 to 12 weeks of age, then monthly
to 6 months of age, then every 30 days to help prevent re-infection.
Treatment should be given shortly after
pet has eaten or with food. Dosage may be given directly in the mouth
or added to food. For multiple cat
households, give directly to individual cat or kitten to ensure proper
dosage.
NOTE: A ¼ tsp. is included for ease of administration.
