The cemented CoCrMo mobile tibial component has a keeled tibial plate component with a flat, mirror polished upper surface for tibial liner articulation. The internal truncated conical cavity in the keel accommodates the liner peg, partially constraining the liner while allowing rotation based on a central-pivot design. The height of the peg prevents dislocation and its design minimises polyethylene wear. The plate has a 0? posterior and 6? articular surface slope. The Trekking Tibial Component MB ? Cemented is a component of the Trekking Total Knee Replacement System which is a modular system that provides an optimal fit between the replaced joint and the limb. Indications: - Knee arthrosis - Extensive primary and secondary destruction of the joint to the extent that the functional efficiency of the locomotive apparatus is reduced; - Severe pathological condition affecting the articulation caused by degenerative and rheumatoid arthritis; - Joint fracture or bone necrosis; Post-surgical conditions after previous operations with or without consequent use of a prosthesis. The mobile bearing knee system is indicated in relatively young and active patients with good ligaments.
