CHE COS’È SIMVASTATINA RATIOPHARM E A CHE COSA SERVE
La simvastatina è un medicinale usato per abbassare i livelli di
colesterolo totale, colesterolo “cattivo"
(colesterolo LDL) e sostanze grasse chiamate trigliceridi nel sangue.
Inoltre, questo farmaco aumenta i livelli
di colesterolo "buono" (colesterolo HDL). Durante l’assunzione di
questo medicinale deve seguire una dieta
a basso contenuto di colesterolo. La simvastatina è un membro della
classe di farmaci chiamati statine.
La simvastatina viene utilizzata insieme alla dieta se lei soffre di:

Un elevato livello di colesterolo nel sangue (ipercolesterolemia
primaria) o livelli elevati di grassi nel
sangue (iperlipidemia mista).
