This product is contraindicated for use on kittens under six months of age. This product is contraindicated for use with other organophosphorus insecticides or organophosphorus drugs. PRECAUTIONS Take care to prevent animals from chewing the collar. The collar is a thin strap made of special plastic, which slowly liberates enough Diazinon to control fleas for up to 5 months. Diazinon is liberated from the plastic as a liquid. It is absorbed into the superficial fatty layer of the skin and fur. Fix collar loosely around cat's neck, cut off and dispose of excess length. Remove collar immediately should signs of skin irritation occur. ENVIRONMENTAL TREATMENT: Fleas (or other types of pests) are also found in cat’s surroundings (such as bedding, carpet, furniture, yard, etc) so in order to prevent further infestation it is important to treat the pets environment appropriately.
