WHAT PANADOL SOLUBLE TABLET
IS USED FOR
For the relief of fever and the
treatment
of
mild-to-moderate
pain
including:
Headache,
Migraine,
Muscle
ache,
Dysmennorhoea,
Sore
throat,
Musculoskeletal
pain,
Fever
and pain after vaccination, Pain
after dental procedures / tooth
extraction, Toothache, Pain of
osteoarthritis.
HOW PANADOL SOLUBLE
TABLET WORKS
Paracetamol is an analgesic and
antipyretic.
Its
mechanism
of
action
is
believed
to
include
inhibition
of
prostaglandin
synthesis, primarily within the
central nervous system.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
PANADOL
SOLUBLE TABLET
_-When you must not use it_
Do not use if you are allergic to
paracetamol or any of the other
ingredients in the product.
Do
not
take
Panadol
Soluble
Tablet
if
you
are
pregnant,
trying to get pregnant or think
you may be pregnant.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist
for
advice
before
taking
any
medicine.
Contains
sorbitol
powder.
Patients
with
rare
hereditary
problems
of
fructose
intolerance should not take this
medicine.

Check with your doctor before
use if:
•
you have liver or kidney
problems.
•
are
underweight
or
malnourished.
•
regularly drink alcohol.

this product altogether or limit
the amount of paracetamol that
you take.

DESKRIPSI PRODUK
Panadol Soluble Tablets adalah tablet putih berbentuk rata dengan sisi
serong. Setiap tablet mempunyai permukaan yang rata pada satu sisi dan
garis putus putus pada sisi yang lain.
INDIKASI
Paracetamol adalah sejenis analgesik dan antipiretik.
a) Untuk rawatan sakit tidak serius (sedikit hingga sederhana)
termasuklah: sakit kepala, migrain, sakit otot, dysmennorhoea, sakit
tekak, sakit otot
dan sendi, demam dan sakit selepas vaksinasi, sakit selepas prosedur
pergigian/ mencabut gigi, sakit gigi, sakit kerana radang tulang-sendi
(osteoartritis)
b) Untuk melegakan demam.
PENGGUNAAN
•
Jangan melebihi dos yang disyorkan.
•
Dos paling rendah yang dapat memberi keberkesanan dan tempoh rawatan
yang paling singkat harus digunakan.
•
Pengambilan secara oral sahaja.
•
Pastikan anda tidak ambil lebih kerap daripada setiap 4 jam.
•
Dos harian maksimum: 4000mg (8 tablet)
Dewasa (termasuk warga tua) dan kanak-kanak berusia 12 tahun ke atas:
Ambil 1-2 tablet (500mg-1000mg paracetamol), dilarutkan dalam setengah
gelas air setiap 4-6 jam bila perlu.
Kanak-kanak berusia 6-11 tahun:
Pastikan anak anda tidak ambil lebih daripada 4 dos dalam tempoh 24
jam.
Jika kesakitan berlarutan untuk lebih daripada 3 hari, sila jumpa
doctor.
Dos harian maksimum: 60mg/kg untuk sepanjang tempoh 24 jam,
dibahagikan kepada 10-15 mg/kg setiap dos.
Kanak-kanak berusia 6-8 tahun: ½ tablet (250mg), dilarutkan dalam
setengah gelas air.
Kanak-kanak berusia 9-11 tahun: 1 tablet (500mg), dilarutkan dalam
setengah gelas air.
Kanak-kanak di bawah umur 6 tahun:
Tidak disyorkan untuk kanak-kanak di bawah umur 6 tahun.
