WHAT HUMAN INSULIN IS 
USED FOR 
The human insulin in InnoLet is 
used to treat diabetes mellitus.  
Diabetes mellitus is a condition 
where your pancreas does not 
produce enough insulin to control 
your blood sugar (glucose) level.  
Extra insulin is therefore needed.  
Human insulin lowers your blood 
sugar level after injection. 
Each of the following human 
insulins is available in InnoLet, a 
compact pre-filled insulin 
delivery device able to deliver 
1-50 units in increments of 1

_  _is Isophane Insulin 
Injection.  It is a neutral 
suspension of isophane human 
insulin (rys).  When shaken 
gently, the liquid appears white 
and cloudy.
