An examination for existing heartworm infection prior to commencement of treatment is recommended. Consult a veterinarian. MILBEMAX Tablets should be given by mouth. The minimum dose is 2 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg bodyweight. INTRODUCTION Controlling roundworm, hookworm, tapeworm and preventing heartworm infections is essential for the good health of cats. INDICATIONS For control of gastrointestinal worms: MILBEMAX Broad-Spectrum Allwormer Tablets for Small Cats 0.5 – 2 kg bodyweight should be administered orally to kittens at 6, 8 and 12 weeks of age, then every 3 months. MILBEMAX Broad-Spectrum Allwormer Tablets for Cats over 2 kg bodyweight should be administered to cats weighing over 2 kg. Pregnant queens should be treated at mating and before birth of kittens. Nursing queens should be treated at the same time as their kittens. Adult cats should be treated every 3 months. If worm problems persist, consult a veterinarian.
