EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICINE
This medicine acts directly on vascular smooth muscles and expands
peripheral vessels and
also suppresses platelet aggregation to improve blood flow, leading to
relief of symptoms such
as numbness and pain of limbs, as well as coldness.
It is usually used to improve various ischemic symptoms such as
ulcer/pain and coldness
associated with thromboangiitis obliterans, subjective symptoms (pain
and numbness of lower
limbs) associated with acquired lumbar spinal stenosis (patients with
normal straight leg raise-
Test and bilateral intermittent claudication), and walking ability.
