®
MATRIX THERAPY FOR REGENERATION
AND CORNEAL HEALING
Eye drops solution
INGREDIENTS:
Poly (carboxymethylglucose sulfate), Dextran T40,
sodium chloride, purified water.
The box contains 5 unit doses of 0.33 mL of eye
drops solution, packed in an aluminium sachet.
Preservative-free solution.

WHEN TO USE CACICOL:
CACICOL
®
is intended for the management of chronic
corneal wound healing, such as persistent epithelial
defects and persistent anterior corneal dystrophies with
associated pain.
USE CACICOL
® WITH A MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION.
PROPERTIES:
CACICOL
®
is an RGTA
®
(ReGeneraTing Agent) that
improves both the speed and quality of tissue healing. It
starts the natural process to allow new tissue to grow, the
cells that support the tissue to heal, and eases pain.
HOW TO USE CACICOL
®
:
METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
USE ONLY IN THE EYE

Wash your hands well before use.

Open the aluminium sachet.
-
Take one unit dose container from the strip and
carefully close the aluminium sachet.
-
Open the unit dose container.
-
Drop one or two drops into the eye to be treated while
looking up and pulling the lower eyelid down slightly.
-
Do not touch the tip of the container on the eye or
eyelids.
-
Throw away the unit dose container after use. Do not
keep it to use again.
DOSE:
Use CACICOL
®
exactly as your doctor has told you.
Use one to two drops of CACICOL
®
once a week. Your
ophthalmologist may change your dose.
If you use CACICOL
®
more often than you are told to, the
healing effect may not be as good.
If you need to use any other eye drops as well as
CACICOL
®
, use CACICOL
®
first and then wait at least
15 minutes before using the other eye drops.
TELL YOUR OPHTHALMOLOGIST IF YOU ARE USING OR HAVE
RECENTLY USED ANY OTHER EYE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY
YOU GOT WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION.
