What Zoben Tablet is used for
Zoben
Tablet
is
effective
against
threadworm
or
pinworm,
roundworm,
whipworm, threadworm and hookworm
among others.
Zoben Tablet contains albendazole as the
active
ingredient,
which
used
to
clear
worms
or
parasites
from
the
gut
and
other tissues. The method of clearing and
killing these worms are by causing them
to
starve.
The
eggs,
larvae
and
adult
worms are affected.
How Zoben Tablet works
Albendazole alter the cells of the worm
which lead to blocking of glucose uptake
by
susceptible
worm
species,
thereby
depleting of glucose uptake will directly
reduce energy level required for survival.
Due
to
diminished
energy
production,
the
parasite
is
immobilized
and
eventually dies.
Before you use Zoben Tablet
-When you must not use it
Do not take Zoben Tablet if you:

you
have
an
allergic
reaction
to
albendazole
or
any
of
the
other
ingredients
contained
in
this
medicine. The ingredients are listed at
the end of this leaflet. Signs of an
allergic reaction may include an itchy
skin
rash,
shortness
of
breath
and
swelling of the face or tongue.

if you have taken albendazole before
and became unwell, tell your doctor
or pharmacist before taking the first
dose.

you are allergic to medicines similar
to albendazole.

you have liver problem.

the expiry date printed on the pack
has passed.

the packaging is torn or shows signs
of tampering.
Pregnancy and lactation

Do not use it if you are pregnant or
suspected for pregnant.

Do not take Zoben Tablet if you are
breast
feeding.

not
known
whether
it
can
be
distributed
into
breast milk. Consult with your doctor
