WHAT ZEVIN CREAM IS USED FOR
Zevin
Cream is used to treat herpes
simplex virus infection of the skin
(inflammatory skin disease) including
initial and recurrent genital herpes
(sexually transmitted infection) and
herpes labialis (infection of the mouth
area).
HOW ZEVIN CREAM WORKS
Zevin
Cream is used for the treatment of
viral infections due to herpes simplex
virus (type 1 and 2) and varicella-zoster
virus (herpes zoster and chickenpox).
BEFORE YOU USE ZEVIN CREAM

_When you must not use it _
Do not use Zevin Cream if:
•
You are allergic or hypersensitive to
Acyclovir.
•
It is not prescribed by a qualified
doctor or pharmacist for you.
•
You are pregnant, trying to get
pregnant or think you may be
pregnant.
•
You are breast-feeding. Ask your
doctor or pharmacist for advice
before taking any medicine.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if:

You are pregnant or nursing your
baby.
•
You are allergic to any medicines.
•
You are taking and using any
other medicines (including those
not prescribed by your doctor).

taking any other medicines, as it may
interact with your Zevin Cream:

Probenecid (used to treat gout)
