2MG/5ML IS USED FOR
YSP SALBUTAMOL SYRUP
2MG/5ML is used to relieve:
- bronchospasm (sudden constriction of
muscles around the air passages in the
lung) in bronchial asthma of all types,
- chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the
main air passages to the lungs).
- emphysema (damage to the air sacs
(alveoli) in the lungs).
HOW YSP SALBUTAMOL SYRUP
2MG/5ML WORKS
Salbutamol is a potent beta-adrenergic
stimulant free from undesirable
cardiovascular actions, which helps to
open up the airways and relieve chest
tightness, wheezing and cough in
asthmatic patient.
BEFORE YOU USE YSP SALBUTAMOL
SYRUP 2MG/5ML
_When you must not use it _
You must not take YSP SALBUTAMOL
SYRUP 2MG/5ML if you are allergic
towards salbutamol sulphate or to any
other ingredients listed at the end of this
leaflet.
_Before you start to use it _
Consult doctor or pharmacist regarding
the consumption of YSP
SALBUTAMOL SYRUP 2MG/5ML if
you have any of the following
conditions:
-
pregnancy or breastfeeding
-
hyperthyroidism (overactivity of the
thyroid gland, resulting in a rapid
heartbeat and an increased rate of
metabolism)
-
diabetes mellitus
-
serious cardiovascular (relating to the
heart and blood vessels) disorders
-
hypertension (abnormally high blood
pressure)
-
thyrotoxicosis
(excessive
thyroid
hormone concentration).
