XORLYX 10 Salicylic Acid 10%
w/w ointment is used for treatment of
seborrheic dermatitis, scalp, psoriasis
and hyperkeratotic skin disorders.

HOW XORLYX 10 SALICYLIC ACID
10% W/W OINTMENT WORKS

XORLYX 10 Salicylic Acid
10% w/w Ointment is helpful in
treating because of its ability to
penetrate the follicle.

It encourages the shedding of
dead skin cells from within the
follicle, helping keep the pores
clear of cellular debris.
BEFORE YOU USE XORLYX 10
SALICYLIC ACID 10% W/W OINTMENT
When you must not use it

If you have allergy or
hypersensitivity to Salicylic
Acid or any other ingredient in
its preparation.

If you are a diabetic.

If your peripheral blood
circulation is impaired.

On children aged less than 2
years.

Pregnant Women: Check with
your doctor or pharmacist
before using your medicine.

Breastfeeding mothers:

used cautiously in nursing
mothers.
Before you start to use it

Inform your doctor or
pharmacist if you are taking or
using any other medication at
the same time.

_DESCRIPTION _
_XORLYX 10 is a Salicylic Acid ointment contains_
_• Salicylic acid 0.1 gram/ 1 gram (10% w/w)_
_Topical Salicylic Acid acts as keratolytic agent._

_PRODUCT INDICATION/USAGE_
_For treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis, scalp, psoriasis and

_RECOMMENDED DOSE/USE INSTRUCTION_
_Apply a thin layer of XORLYX 10 Salicylic Acid 10% w/w to the
affected areas, once or _
_twice daily (in the morning and at night) until improvement occur or
as directed by _
_physician._
_CONTRAINDICATION_

_Allergic or hypersensitivity to Salicylic Acid or any other
ingredient in its _
_ preparation. _

_It should not be used by patients with diabetes or with impaired
peripheral_
_blood circulation._

_WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS_

_Keep medicine out of reach of children._

_This preparation is to be used on the skin only._

_Avoid using on open wound or area of broken, inflamed or normal skin,

_wart and on large areas of skin._

_Avoid contact with eyes, face, genitals and mucous membranes._

_Salicylic acid is irritating and may cause dermatitis._

_If irritation or sensitisation develops, consult your doctor. Seek
medical advice_

_Do not use large amounts, apply this medication more often, or use it
