WHAT WOODWARD’S GRIPE WATER
ORAL SOLUTION IS USED FOR
Relief from wind pains, digestive
upsets
especially
during
teething
period.
HOW
WOODWARD’S
GRIPE
WATER
ORAL SOLUTION WORKS
This
medicine
is
an
antacid
and
antiflatulent product. It is used to
relieve
griping
pain
or
waves
of
severe abdominal pain (infant colic)
in babies.
BEFORE
YOU
USE
WOODWARD’S
GRIPE WATER ORAL SOLUTION

Do not give to a baby:

Who is allergic to any of th

gredients in this product

Who has kidney problems

_Before you start to use it _
This
medicine
contains
hydroxybenzoate
derivatives
which
may
cause
allergic
reactions (possibly delayed).

_Taking other medicines _
Tell
your
doctor
if
your
baby/child
is
taking
any
other
medicines, including any that you
buy without a prescription from a
pharmacy, supermarket or health
food shop.
HOW
TO
USE WOODWARD’S GRIPE
WATER ORAL SOLUTION

_How much to use _
One
to
six
months
old
-
one
teaspoonful (5ml)
Six months to two years old – two
teaspoonfuls (10ml)
Two years and above - two to three
teaspoonfuls (10-15ml)
These doses may be given during or
after each feed up to 4 times in 24
hours.

_When to use it _
Use as directed by your doctor or
pharmacist.

_How long to use it _
Continue taking Woodward’s Gripe
Water Oral Solution as long as your
doctor recommends.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist
on what you should do
